eVOLve Project Manager
Located: JLGB Head Office in East London
Reporting to: JLGB Chief Executive
Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 depending on experience
JLGB are looking for an exceptional and experienced collaborative thinker with a passion for youth social action to lead ‘evolve’ – our young volunteering and skills initiative. evolve is JLGB's response to the ever-changing needs of young Jewish volunteers. The initiative and digital platform is a revolution in youth volunteering, creating an age-progressive volunteering journey for Jewish young people throughout primary and secondary school and on to university.
evolve removes faith and cultural barriers to participation to enable young people to take part in national volunteering awards and accredited programmes, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, National Citizen Service and Open College Network Accreditations. evolve enables and equips over 2,500 Jewish young people each year to fully engage in meaningful social action, enhancing their employability and transferable skills to become active citizens in their local community and wider society.
This role will enable JLGB to expand the reach of evolve through communication and engagement activities. The Project Manager will drive this expansion by engaging and supporting evolve’s key stakeholders, such as charities, synagogues and schools. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management and be skilled in creating and delivering timelines and campaigns with measurable outputs. A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
As evolve Project Manager you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, working alongside the Director of Operations and Director of Communications and other key programme managers, all of whom report to the Chief Executive. You will report regularly to the trustees, setting the timetable and process for review of the evolve initiative. As we expand evolve to reach over 15,000 young people over the next three years, JLGB is excited to recruit a dedicated Project Manager.
