For Over 130 Years, JLGB Has Broken Down Barriers – Now, It’s Your Turn to Shape the Future


JLGB has always been more than just a youth group. For over 130 years, we’ve helped remove the barriers that faith and culturally observant young people often face in accessing life-changing opportunities—from volunteering and skills-building to leadership and citizenship.
 
Now, the government wants to hear directly from you. The new National Youth Strategy Survey puts young people’s voices at the heart of future policy—and Jewish young people must be part of that conversation.
 
Speaking at JLGB’s 130th anniversary at the House of Lords, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said:
“We are handing power back to young people and their communities, giving them a genuine opportunity to help make the policies that affect their lives.”
She specifically urged Jewish youth to take part, recognising JLGB’s role in ensuring all young people can access the same opportunities.
